Below are photos of Ellie and I working on art for a show at the B Gallery in the Spring of 2009. Jodi Vander Woude from B Gallery is the photographer. These photos give you a glimpse at how we start our paintings. As you can see in the last photo of the completed paintings, how much layering we go through to complete a piece of artwork. I love to see the transformations of the paintings when I work on them. The journey to obtain a "finished" painting can be challenging at times but it's definitely rewarding to see it all fall into place in the end. Enjoy!
